I suggest to my couples that they may like to complete a questionnaire about their romance. From this I develop personal sentimental stories to incorporate into their ceremony. Last week I had a couple complete this task (independently of each other) with such sincerity and articulate devotion that I refused to rewrite these words into a story, they needed to be honoured and not edited in anyway. I decided that the best way of using these words was to convert the answers to the first person and the couple will read them to each other as their personal vows. They will be a surprise gift to the other, love letters straight from the heart. Expressions of a genuine connection expressed with an authentic voice. I would like to share the letters with you but the wedding is on the 15th of June and the letters should be read and received first by the couple. I can’t wait for the, what will be, wondrous reaction of the couple and their guests.
